The Oriental Dragon Brothers' design--- Finalized!

After a looooooooong time of remodeling and modification, I finally have those two little fellas' design completed!

It took me countless tries to give them a proper appearance, cute, yet not distorting the original model, the oriental dragons too much. I did remove the whiskers, since they would look so old with those on. Also those large eyes was the sparkle of inspiration when I was doodling the white dragon one day.

In my mind, they should be furry, they should be cuddly, should be cute, should be accepted by both western and eastern people... Sadly, it looks like the mainland is avoiding the improvement of their holy beast--- the Oriental Dragon. I really do not get why, but all I can see on Chinese markets are dragons with very Ancient drawing style, to be more exact, monsters more than blessed holy creatures. That's why I wanted to pick out my dragon pet and refine them to the point which most people would like and accept.

Okay, enough blabbing, meet Silvvy the younger Silver Dragon brother and Ebby the elder one! I think the descriptions speak of themselves pretty much so I would not waste too much time on that.

Hope you like those, I'm currently working on their emoicons and several small strips.

The company may not use them, but I will never abandon them. I have spent a lot of energy and time on the two, and I love them, with all my heart. So if you like those, feel free to pick their emoions to use, and please tell your friends about them too, just give me the credit... and please do not alter, that's all I ask.

just an update

Now I'm in Taiwan enjoy my Chinese new year vacation.
That's why I didn't post any new arts lately, will back to my busy life very soon in 2/10...

A Taiwan company found one of my wolf pet arts on the net, they contacted with me and want me to draw a mascot, a white wolf with wings for them.
Of course I take this case, now I'll do 2 simple animations of this wolf for them.
They want me finish the case in March.
So that means I have to delay the commission works again. >_<

The list is so long, I can't really tell you when I will start and finish them.
This year is a busy year for me and Kovu, that's all I can write now.
By the way, I may ask Kovu to write LJ for me in the future, since his English is much better than me.

The first Entry for Year 2008

I haven't been posting any entries here for a while, don't mean it but I've been pretty busy these days, besides the work, my big event at the end of last year was moving into the new apartment, guess those who have seen my online galleries already know this. And now I proudly am the owner of my new apartment. Although we still have some stuff yet to be moved and unpacked, we have finished the unpacking of those essencial. Finally I have my own house that I can put animal stuff up at my free will. Yes, it's already been invaded by animals! Plushies, figurines, haning cloth and bedwares. I will take pictures and put them on when we have done all the moving.

Still I have not get used to the weather here, damp and cold during winter. But I've seen the snow for the first time in my life, not heavy tho, and because i was on my way to the office, so I paid less attention than I should have... Ahem.

The work is still buuuusy, luckily I am still in the web game company as a designer. But recently we are not working on the pet game as scheduled, instead we are working on some other online war game like Ogame. Looking back at what I have been through since I entered this company... many obstacles and hardships on the pet game stuff. Well, good news is we have a boss with the right stuff in him. Hard to describe, but he has what it got to be a good leader, the only shortcoming is, he gets hyper and bites around often when talking about anything related to the company staff, for a while it caused much tension and depression among us, but now he's realized it and is trying his best to improve, good to know.

One last thing I am confused about: Why Orient Dragons are not that popular among Chinese? There are complains about this in the forum I am in. And Orient Dragon related products, arts and stuff, as long as they are "modern styled", or say with better looks, are from anywhere but China. Chinese only have those "dragons" with AAAaaaacient stupid looking, without any improvement, even the product (clothes, decorations)I see now are with such retarded style. Can't find anything cool even I turn all Shanghai stores around. Great, great, greatly weird and depressing... maybe a little ashamed.

Happy 4th anniversary

Time runs fastit's been the 4th anniversary of ours again.

I had been watching the intimate pics I drew before,
to be honest I kinda feel ashamed watching those now.
"How come I would draw those!" Perhaps time changes everything,
the pics are for showing our daily life,
and those old ones no longer can reflect the relationship between us.

Kovu is not just the "missing part" of my life puzzle,
but a good friend, a sidekick, a brother, family.
Thus, the celebrating pic is about our moving into the new home.
Right, he took care of almost everything, no matter big, or small.
All I can do is idle aside, yawning, choosing my favorite furniture and working for money. XD
He is an awesome husband. (or should I say wife? XD)

From now on the content of our pics will mostly about our daily life.
Maybe because I drew too many commissions for other couples.
It becomes boring to me to just draw R rated or intimate pics,
this will not show the unique side of ours.

I love the way we are.
Maybe it's a different pic than other couples, but this is how we feel for eachother.

About the new game

The past 3 weeks, I totally stop the pets designing works and helped my coworker coloring soldiers of a new webgame which must be finished in this year.
The game story is based on "The Romance of Three Kingdoms", a part of real history in China.
And the style is quite like "O-game", if you know what it is.

I feel quite content about the coloring work, since I don't have to use my brain at all. XD
And the best part is, there are some feral animals in those soldiers.
My coworker can't draw animals REALLY well, so I asked him to give his assignment of drawing the animals to me. :P
So here are my feral animals works, you can see what he drew,too.

It's the werebear he drew, his color skill isn't that good.
Althogh he tried to color the bear, but the game designer still asked me to recolor it again. :P

Growing pains

Kovu mentioned a soap opera called "Growing Pains" several days before,
and we happened to see the original records in the mall later,
seenig the characters on the front page,
realized it was the one I liked when I was a kid!

Tried to download some episodes, but in Chinese voice acting.
I don't like the casting in Chinese, maybe it's just my taste or something..
they are no funny anymore in Chinese!
I'm searching the original voice casting ver with English Subtitles.
Hoping this will be better.

SO, er, I'm still alive...
Since China still blocks LJ, I just too lazy to open the proxy and write something here.
But the good news is I can go to Youtube now. :)

If you've watched my DA/FA, you must know I'm very busy with my job.
Also I'll move to my new house (which is my parents bought to me) in the end of this year.

So I'm back on 10/16.
I just spent the whole night to watch about 600+ art on DA and FA, now finally done.
Still need more time to category the photos and TONS of stuff I bought. ^^;

Anyway, US is a heaven to me!
I love all kinds of US food, easy to find lots and lots animal/fantasy stuff, funny cartoons, and people are very friendly and enthusiast.
So I don't have any mood to go to work now...=__=
wish I could stay there longer.

I'm still alive, just lazy to use proxy to update my LJ, haha.
I'll go to USA to join my cusion's wedding in Oct. (10/4~10/13, in San Francisco and Las Vegas)
In fact, I'm not familiar with my cusion, just going to playing and shopping there, hehe.
Since animal and fantasy stuff are hard to be found in Taiwan or China, so I started to buy a lot of things on Ebay and sent to my cusion's home during these weeks.
Then when I get there, I will bring these stuff home without very high international shipment. ;P

Here are the stuff I bought, all were paid via Paypal from the commission I've been taking. I think I spent about 1000 dollers... *runs away*

I havn't write LJ for a while again....
One big reason is China keep blocking more and more sites, I have to use proxy but they also blocked my proxy program,too. >:(
Now I finally found the new version of the proxy program, that's why I can post again.
Not only LJ, they block Wiki, Flickr, some functions of Google, many Taiwan sites, many blog sites, and more other sites that I don't know why.(Like Kovu's web site--prideland.org)
So, I just want to let you know, China is an extremely information-conservative country.

Hi! everyone, you may know I'm busy working for a pet web game company now.
We really want to make a great and popular game, not like those pet web games just totally imitating Neopet.
But I'm the only one who knows Neopet over 1 year (in fact, I joined in 2002) in the work team.
Most of them just started to play in this year. So my boss wants us to find out why Neopet is so popular, what their tips to succeed are.

Although I joined in 2002 and had played it a lot many years ago, but I don't like Neopet.
I don't like keep playing flash games there and you always need NP to buy/do almost everything.
So I need some Neopet lovers/players to help me.

I will write a list of questions about Neopet, not many, 6~10 questions I think.
I need you to find many other Neopet players to answer those questions, including yourslef.
If you collect enough members to reach my request amount, then I'll draw a cute style gift art for you! (your fursona or characters)

For example:
If the amount is 20 members, you need to ask 20 other Neopet players to answer my list of questions.
Email me (or PM, note, whatever) all of their answers, including yours.
Then tell me what character you want me to draw, and I'll draw for you.

Havn't write LJ for a while....
if you had seen my DA/FA accounts, you'll know I'm very busy with my job lately.... ><
And I'm tried when back home, I even can't play any games because my mind need to relax.....

So... that reaminds me about the old time in Wildfuryx forum.
I don't know why but I'm kind of miss that time in Wild Furyx.
I'd meet a lot of nice people and artists there. I had a great time and got some good trades with artists there.
But after Wildfuryx shuted down, I still havn't found any good place like there.
I don't know where you guys meet up online now, just hope there is a furry artists forum with people I know, I could share my life. thoughts and arts there.(Since there're only very few people watching my LJ.)
And I could have more communications with other artists.

Kovu said why not build a forum like Wild Furyx by ourselves？
It sounds a good idea though my English is very poor, but Kovu will help me. ^^;

We stayed in Disney hollywood hotel in first day.

The lion king show, there was a monky acter noticed we wear Simba t-shirts, then he just kept culting in front of us. XD

Yeah, I'm back.
Since god damn China block LJ,so I can only use proxy to login, but the one I was using moved to a new server, it took many days to setup everything, so that's why I didn't write anything and didn't get on this site during these days.

Anyway, Kovu and me had a happy trip in HK, I'll post the photos later.
And I start to work yesterday, at the web game company like I said last time.
That means, my commission speed will be veeeeeeeeery slow now.
I can only draw a little sketchs when back home, and may ink/color in the weekend.
So please bear with me if you think you wait for a long time. ^^;
But! I'm still open for commissions, at anytime, will never close it.
Just finishing them with very slow speed.....

And another bad news, the one who owes me commission payment-- Mestopho, seems doesn't want to pay me. She replyed my mail 2 weeks ago, she promised she will pay me on Monday(4/30), but I didn't get anything and after that she didn't reply my mails either.
It's not payment delay that I can't accept, it's the totall rejection and ignoring that I can't bear with.
So I will resell the commission file on Furbid.
But since I don't have much free time to midify the chars for people(if they want to modify the chars), so I will resell it when I finish the commissions who had already paied me.
That's all I want to say, and if you know Mestopho, please let her know, I'm very disappointed at her.

Just a note, Kovu and me will go to HongKong for a trip during 4/30~5/3.
Will not able to get online, check emails...ect.

Yeah~ I finally made my first WOW film!
Took 3 days to record the film, cut them, and put the music.

That's how I made a corpse, 3min 30 sec.
